Using Mind Map For Advocacy

For those of you who have been following along, you know I’m a big fan of the Mindjet MindManager software.  Here is an interesting post from the Settlement Perspectives Blog titled Get To The Point, And Get It Across, With A Mediation Mind Map.  Here’s the money quote:

When used as a presentation tool, the structure of your map can help to make your arguments more memorable – more “sticky” – for your audience. And since I don’t have much time to arm my mediator with the critical facts she needs, in context, mind maps have become my mediation tool of choice.

The author proposes using mind maps for mediation in order to put your best foot forward and provide a seamless presentation.  There are also some great links to resources for anyone interested in using mind mapping software which can be found in this Settlement Perspective post.
