Reflections of a Blog Review Host

by Traverse Legal, reviewed by Enrico Schaefer - August 4, 2005 - Uncategorized

I truly enjoyed hosting blog review seventeen this last week. It was hard work getting all the links and content together. However, it was well worth the effort. It was personally and professionally rewarding and satisfying to see it all come together.

For future hosts of blog review, I would offer these insights.

·         Get started early. I started about six days before and would have loved an additional six days to get it all together.

·         Determine what your theme is. Blog review is more than just reviewing submissions by other bloggers. Blog review allows you the opportunity to express a viewpoint and weave the links into a story.

·         Review previous blog reviews to see what those hosts did. There are some great examples of creative hosting. The bar should only go up from here.
