The Latest and Greatest Gadgets for Leaders

Michael Dow, Chief Executive Officer over at Suntiva.com, recently posted a review of the top 3 gadgets for business executives – the Apple iPad 2, the Blackberry Playbook, and the Motorola Xoom. Here are the benefits Mike found in each device:

Playbook: 

1. Intuitive UI with rapid swapping between apps, and Word to Go – great document editing app
2.  Great size and screen for travelers
3. Loved the virtual keyboard, even though it’s smaller than the other two; more feedback (“clicking”) as you type

Xoom:

1. Largest of the screens at 10.1 inches, if that’s your thing – 1280 x 800 resolution
2. Very nice 5 megapixel camera
3. Android/Honeycomb interface might be preferred by the more tech-savvy of users

iPad 2:

1. Enormous library of apps, 500,000+ and counting… plus an endless stream of cool accessories to choose from
2. Fastest of the three in my informal testing
3. Nice interface for quickly accessing all of your email accounts (work, personal, Gmail, yahoo, etc.) in one consolidated format
